Lace Cookies
Lace Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 1 c. quick cooking oats, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt butter in saucepan; stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on greased and floured cookie sheets. Spread evenly and thinly with a spatula.
Bake at 375Β° for 5 to 7 minutes or until edges are brown.
Let stand 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet with large spatula.
Cookies will be very thin and lacy.
Cool thoroughly.
Yields 3 1/2 dozen.
