Homemade Salisbury Steak
Homemade Salisbury Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can cream of mushroom soup, divided, 1 lb. ground beef, 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs, 1 egg, beaten and 1/4 c. chopped onion (extra fine), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg and onion.
Shape into 6 patties.
Cook patties over medium heat in skillet, a few at a time, until brown on both sides.
Spoon off fat.
Stir in rest of soup and mushrooms.
Return patties to skillet.
Reduce heat and cook on low heat.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes, turning until done.
