Homemade Rolls
Homemade Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. plain flour, 4 tbsp. yeast, 1 c. shortening, 1 tbsp. salt and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Mix yeast in warm water in a large bowl.
Add shortening and stir to melt.
Mix in salt and sugar.
Stir in flour gradually. Mix thoroughly with wooden spoon or dough hook.
Put into a greased bowl to raise.
Cover and set in warm place until double in bulk. Punch down and shape into desired type rolls.
Place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Brush with butter.
