Homemade Chili
Homemade Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste or 1 large can whole tomatoes, diced, 1 large onion, chopped, 2 cans kidney beans and 1 heavy pinch garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown ground beef in bacon drippings.
Mix in garlic powder and onion; saute.
When beef is browned, add bell pepper and tomatoes or sauce.
Simmer about 10 minutes.
Stir occasionally. Then add beans, juice, salt and pepper.
Cook about 20 minutes. Add chili powder and Chili-O mix.
Simmer to blend flavors.
