Grandma's Sunshine Cake
Grandma'S Sunshine Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 eggs, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Separate the whites and yolks of 5 eggs.
Add water to the yolks and beat.
Add sugar slowly into the yolks and beat well. Add boiling water to the egg yolk mixture and beat well.
Then add flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla.
In separate bowl, beat egg whites and 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar.
Then fold into the yolk mixture.
Pour cake mixture into an angel food cake pan (separates into two parts).
Put into a cold oven set at 300Β°. Bake 1 hour.
