Golden Crisp Brownies
Golden Crisp Brownies is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. honey grahams cereal, 1/2 c. chopped nuts, 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed, 1/3 c. butter, melted and 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Mix slightly crushed cereal, nuts, brown sugar, butter and 2 tablespoons of flour.
Pat into ungreased square baking pan (9 x 9 x 2-inch).
Heat chocolate and Crisco in 2-quart saucepan over low heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread over layer in pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes.
Loosen edges from pan.
Invert on wire rack.
Cool completely.
Cut into bars (about 2 x 1 1/2-inch).
Yields 24 bars.
