German Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. milk, 1 1/2 c. sugar, pinch of salt, 3 heaping tbsp. cornstarch and 5 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat milk.
Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch with small amount of heated milk.
Stir in egg yolks.
Cook until thick.
Add unmelted butter, vanilla, chips to color, coconut and pecans.
Cool shortly. Put into a 9-inch baked pie shell.
