German Chocolate Cake
A simplified German chocolate sheet cake with a coconut-pecan layer baked on top instead of a cooked frosting. Rich, gooey, and far less fuss than the classic.

Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Combine coconut and pecans.
Line bottom of pan with this.
Make cake according to package directions.
Pour over mixture. Soften margarine and cream cheese.
Mix with sugar and pour over cake mix. Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 45 minutes.
