Fruit Cocktail Torte
Fruit Cocktail Torte is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. flour, 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Sift flour, sugar and soda into a bowl.
Into this dry mixture, pour the can of fruit cocktail and mix well.
Add the beaten egg and vanilla.
Pour mixture into greased baking dish. Over the top, sprinkle the chopped nuts and brown sugar.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
This may be fairly brown, but does not hurt the torte.
