Fried Wontons
Fried Wontons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground pork, 1 lb. shrimp, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. soy sauce and 1 tbsp. dry vermouth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Heat wok.
Add oil and ground pork.
Cook until meat loses reddish color.
Add shrimp, soy sauce, wine, salt, sliced water chestnuts and green onions.
Stir-fry for 1 minute.
Combine cornstarch and water in separate bowl.
Drain meat mixture on wax paper.
Place approximately 1 teaspoon of filling in center of each wrapper.
Pinch firmly together after putting cornstarch around all edges.
Heat oil to 375Β°.
Deep fry until crisp and golden.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve warm with sweet and sour sauce and hot mustard.
