French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter, 8 onions, peeled and sliced, 1 1/2 qt. boiling water, 7 beef or chicken bouillon cubes and 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Heat oven to 425Β°.
Melt butter in 2-quart saucepan.
Cook onions in butter until soft.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add onions to liquid.
Cook over low heat 10 minutes.
Pour in earthenware bowls.
Place toast on top and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
