Easy Rolled-Oat Scones
Easy Rolled-Oat Scones is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. unsifted flour, 1 c. rolled oats, uncooked, 1 t. cream of tartar, 1/2 t. salt and 1/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix together all dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening with two knives or pastry blender-or short on-off strokes- in blender, until crumbly.
Add milk to make soft dough.
Roll dough out on floured board to about 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut into triangles and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425Β° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm with fruit spread or apple butter.
