Easy Chicken Pot Pie
Easy Chicken Pot Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large fryer, cooked and deboned, 1/2 c. chopped cooked celery, 1/2 c. chopped cooked onion, 1 small jar pimento and 1 large can english peas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook and debone 1 large fryer.
In a large bowl, dice chicken and add the celery, onion, English peas, eggs, pimento, broth and soup; add salt and pepper to taste.
Mix all together and place in 1 large or 2 medium casserole dishes and top with the following: 1 stick oleo (melted), 1 1/2 cups milk and 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour.
Pour over chicken mixture and bake at 400Β° for 30 to 40 minutes or until light brown.
