Double Fudge Brownies
Double Fudge Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. unsifted flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. butter and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Preheat oven to 325°.
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Set aside.
In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water.
Bring just to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add chocolate morsels and vanilla extract.
Stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth.
Transfer to a large bowl.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually blend in flour mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Spread into a greased baking pan. Bake at 325° for 50 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen.
