Double-Chocolate Walnut Brownies
Double-Chocolate Walnut Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, 2 c. sugar, 3 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes; makes about 2 dozen.
Melt butter and chocolate in medium saucepan over moderate heat (may also be melted in microwave oven).
Remove from heat.
Mix in sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Stir in vanilla.
Stir in flour.
Stir in one cup of walnuts.
Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Mix rest of walnuts and chocolate pieces and sprinkle over top of brownie mixture, pressing down lightly.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until top springs back when pressed with fingertip. Cook completely in pan.
Cut into bars.
