Date Roll Candy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 c. milk, 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 1/2 c. chopped dates, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine sugar, salt, milk and butter.
Boil until sugar is dissolved.
Add dates and stir constantly until soft ball occurs when tested in a cup of water.
Remove from fire and cool.
Beat until creamy and thick; add nuts, mixing thoroughly.
Pour onto cold wet cloth and knead until smooth.
Shape into roll and chill until firm.
Cut into thin slices.
