Danish Christmas Rice Pudding
Danish Christmas Rice Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. milk, 1 c. rice, 3 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 whole almond, blanched, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Put milk, rice, sugar and salt into the top of a double boiler.
Cover and cook until rice is soft and thick (about 1 1/2 hours), stirring occasionally.
Cool completely then add vanilla, chopped almonds and whole almond.
Whip whipping cream until stiff.
Carefully stir into rice mixture.
Heat cherry pie filling and serve on top.
