Mix as follows
Pour molasses into large pan on stove and warm.
Add sugar, eggs, oleo and soda/water mixture.
Add spices and salt.
Add raisins and nuts dredged in flour.
Mix very stiff with flour.
Roll into balls about the size of a walnut and flatten on cookie sheet with glass bottom dipped in flour.
