Crock-Pot Steak
Crock-Pot Steak is an moderately easy slow-cooker meal. Made with 2 lb. round steak, 1 large onion, 1 can golden mushroom soup, 1 can of water and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cut steak into serving pieces; salt and pepper.
Cut onion into slices; put layer of onion in bottom of crock-pot, then a layer of steak pieces.
Repeat layers, ending with onions.
Mix together soup and water and pour over steak and onions.
Cook 1 hour on high; reduce heat to low and cook for 7 to 8 hours.
Add thickening to liquid to make gravy.
