Cowboy Coffee Cake
Cowboy Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/3 c. shortening, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix flour, sugar, salt and shortening until crumbly; take out 1/4 cup.
To remaining crumbs, add baking powder, soda and spices; mix well.
Pour into one greased and floured 8 x 1 1/2-inch round pan; top with reserved crumbs.
Bake at 375Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve warm.
Makes one cake.
