Country Fried Okra
Country Fried Okra is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 doz. (frying size) okra pods, 2 large potatoes, 1 medium onion, 1/2 stick margarine and 1/2 c. crisco oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Chop okra and onion; slice potatoes and mix in bowl.
Add flour, meal, salt and pepper; stir until all vegetables are well coated.
Brown in hot oil until tender (about 20 minutes).
Reduce heat; add margarine to top of vegetables.
Cover and continue to cook approximately 10 more minutes.
