Congealed Strawberry Salad
Congealed Strawberry Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 regular pkg. strawberry jell-o, 2 c. boiling water, 1 1/2 c. frozen strawberries (sweetened and sliced), 1 small can crushed pineapple and 2 mashed bananas, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine
Jell-O, water, strawberries and pineapple in a bowl. Let thicken and then add bananas. Pour 1/2 of mixture into cold Pyrex dish.
Refrigerate.
When thick and firm, pour whole carton of sour cream on top of Jell-O and spread evenly. Pour other half of Jell-O mixture on top.
Serve with salad dressing or whipped cream.
