Clam Chowder
Clam Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 gal. milk, 1/2 c. finely chopped celery (leave some of the leaves on) and 1/2 c. onions, finely chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Use very large, microwavable container.
Make roux from 1 stick butter and 1/2 cup flour.
Cook in microwave on High, about 2 minutes.
Stir until it is smooth.
Add roux mixture to clam chowder and place on lower than Medium (microwaves vary, this would be about 4 on a Litton).
Cook in microwave about 1 1/2 hours.
