Christmas Cookies
Christmas Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 eggs, separated, 3 c. flour, divided and 1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter, sugar and then beaten egg yolk.
Sprinkle 1 cup flour over the fruit and nuts.
Add spices and salt to remaining flour.
Combine butter, fruit and flour.
Add vanilla and baking soda.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
