Chocolate Tea Cookies
Chocolate Tea Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1 yellow cake, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/3 c. hot water, 4 tbsp. butter or margarine and 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cut cake into 2-inch strips.
Cut each strip into 4 equal pieces.
Cut each piece into 2 triangles.
Combine corn syrup, water and butter in saucepan; bring to a boil.
Heat until butter melts.
Remove from heat.
Stir in chocolate chips until they melt.
Cool to room temperature.
Place each cake triangle onto 2 prong frying fork.
Spoon cooled chocolate glaze over cakes until well covered.
Place on cooling rack to allow excess chocolate to drip from cake.
