Chocolate Filled Cookies
Chocolate Filled Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1/4 c. shortening, 1/4 c. margarine or butter, soft and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix sugars, shortening, butter, vanilla and egg in a large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Mold 2 level teaspoonfuls of dough around each star.
Place about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 6 to 7 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
