Chinese Fried Rice
Chinese Fried Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. lean pork, 1/4 c. minced ham, 1/4 c. wesson oil, 1 medium onion, chopped and 1 medium green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cut pork in small strips and saute in 2 tablespoons oil with ham.
Add onion, green pepper and parsley.
Cook until tender. Add remaining oil, rice, bean sprouts, salt and pepper; stir until well mixed.
Make a well in the center of rice mixture.
Add eggs and cook until semi-solid, then stir into rice and cook until done.
Good with pepper steak.
