Chili Con Queso
Chili Con Queso is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. lean ground beef, 1 diced small onion, 1 small green pepper, 1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can crushed tomatoes and 1/4 c. chili powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Brown beef; drain and add to pot.
Saute onion and green pepper.
Add crushed tomatoes and all spices to pot.
Add tomato paste.
Simmer for 1/2 hour.
Add kidney beans; heat thoroughly. Serve in ovenproof crock-pot.
Top with Cheddar cheese, then brown under broiler.
