Chicken Pot Pie
Chicken Pot Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large chicken, boiled, 1 onion, chopped, 1 can veg-all mixed vegetables, 2 c. chicken broth, boiled chicken and 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (i use cream of celery or mushroom soup), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cook chicken and onion until tender.
Skin, bone and chop chicken.
Place chicken on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Drain vegetables and pour on top of chicken.
Mix broth and soup.
Pour over vegetables.
Combine buttermilk, flour and margarine.
Spoon over top of chicken mixture.
Bake at 400Β° for 1 hour or until brown and bubbly.
