Chicken Pot Pie
Chicken Pot Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 chicken breast halves, boiled until tender in 1 tsp. salt, 2 pie crusts (deep dish type), 3/4 stick oleo, 2 c. chicken broth and 2 heaping tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Prick 1 pie shell with fork and bake about 3 minutes.
Break chicken into bite size pieces; put in bottom of pie crust. Melt oleo in saucepan; add flour and stir until smooth. Add broth and milk, cooking until it thickens. Add drained vegetables and black pepper. Pour over chicken and top with other pie crust. Bake at 350Β° about 45 minutes or until brown.
