Chewy Brownies
Chewy Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. butter or margarine, 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate, 1 c. all-purpose flour, 3/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter and chocolate together.
Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating until thick.
Add chocolate mixture and extract.
Add flour mixture, beating just until blended.
Stir in nuts.
Bake in a well-greased 9-inch square pan at 350Β° for 28 to 30 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Cut into squares.
Yield: 25 brownies.
