Cherokee Casserole
Cherokee Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 3/4 c. finely chopped onion, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, dash of pepper and 1/2 small bay leaf, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Brown meat; drain.
Add onion; cook until tender.
Stir in ingredients in order given, except 3 of the olives and cheese. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into baking dish and top with cheese.
Broil until cheese is melted.
Garnish with olives.
Serves 4 to 6.
