Caramel Brownies
Caramel Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 german chocolate cake mix, 2/3 c. evaporated milk, 3/4 c. butter or oleo, 1 lb. caramels and 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup milk, 3/4 cup melted butter or oleo. Press 1/2 of mixture in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Melt caramels with remaining 1/3 cup milk.
After 6 minutes, pour chocolate chips over cake. Sprinkle nuts over chocolate chips.
Cover with melted caramel. Crumble remaining cake mixture on top.
Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350°.
Cool before cutting.
