Caramel Brownies
Fudgy German chocolate brownies layered with melted caramel, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Two textures, one decadent square.
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix 1/2 cake and 1/3 cup evaporated milk together.
Press in bottom of a greased pan (13 x 9-inch).
Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
Melt caramels with remaining milk, stirring until smooth.
Add margarine; mix well.
Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over cake.
Pour caramel mixture over, spreading to edge of pan.
Sprinkle remaining cake mix over top, pressing into caramel mixture.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
Cool slightly. Refrigerate.
Cut into bars.
