Captain's Kitchen Fried Shrimp
Captain'S Kitchen Fried Shrimp is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. fresh shrimp, cleaned and deveined with tails on, 1 c. flour, 1/2 c. cornmeal, 1/2 c. cracker meal and 1/2 c. canned cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Clean shrimp, leaving tails on (this makes shrimp more moist). Run cold water over shrimp; drain.
Pour chilled cream in small bowl.
Dip shrimp in cream, then shake in paper bag containing bread mix.
As you bread shrimp, place on platter.
Chill at least 1 hour, then fry in hot oil.
Salt while they are hot.
