California Chili
California Chili is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean beef (stew or sirloin), 1/2 lb. lean pork, ground, 1 large onion, 1 large green or red bell pepper and 1 tbsp. crushed red pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Into heavy, deep pot, add meat with a little bacon drippings. Cook until meat is brown.
Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, crushed red pepper, tomato sauce, enchilada sauce and ginger ale.
Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add more ginger ale if liquid is needed.
