Broccoli Cheese Soup
Broccoli Cheese Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. chopped onion, 1 tbsp. margarine, 1 1/2 c. milk, 3/4 lb. mild cheddar or american cheese, shredded or cubed and 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In 2-quart saucepan, cook onions in margarine over low heat until tender.
Add milk and pepper.
When milk is hot, stir in cheese.
Continue stirring until cheese is melted.
Add broccoli. Makes four 3/4 cup servings.
