Beverly Anne's Turkey Chili
Beverly Anne'S Turkey Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. turkey, ground yourself, 1 lb. canned tomatoes, 1 can tomato sauce, water (add as needed) and 1 tbsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Lightly oil large 2 to 3-quart boiler/saucepan.
Saute ground turkey in saucepan for 30 minutes, stirring when needed.
Add onions, chopped.
Cover and simmer slowly.
Add garlic, salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika and parsley after turkey has browned for about 1 hour.
Stir mixture often.
Add water, tomatoes, tomato sauce and more water as needed.
Simmer, covered, for 2 hours or more.
Season to taste.
