Sift dry ingredients together.
Combine lukewarm milk and salad oil; add.
Stir lightly until just blended, about 10 strokes.
Turn onto floured surface and knead gently 10 times.
Pat out 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with a floured biscuit cutter.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 12 (2-inch) biscuits.
