Barbecued Spareribs
Barbecued Spareribs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. spareribs, 1 medium onion, chopped, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/4 c. lemon juice and 2 tbsp. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Place spareribs in large baking pan.
Bake 1/2 hour in moderate oven (350Β°).
If desired, cut in serving size portions first.
Brown onions in fat; add lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire, Tabasco, brown sugar, water, chili sauce and salt. Simmer slowly for 20 minutes; pour over spareribs.
Bake spareribs 1 hour longer, basting ribs occasionally.
Serves four.
