Award Winning Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lbs. picante chorizos (mexican sausages), 2 qts. whole or diced tomatoes, 3-4 cans chili or kidney beans, undrained, 2 large green peppers, diced and 1 large sweet onion, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cook tomatoes, green pepper, onion, jalapeños, spices and chorizos until vegetables are tender.
Add vinegar, brown sugar and beans and simmer on low for 1-2 hours or cook in a slow cooker (low heat) for 5-6 hours. chorizos: Brown sausage in a frying pan before adding to the chili, but you can buy chorizos (beef, pork, or chicken) in natural casings that are really good too.
