Apple Spice Custard Cake
Apple Spice Custard Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (18 1/2 oz.) spice cake mix, 2 medium all-purpose apples, pared and finely chopped, 1 (14 oz.) can eagle brand condensed milk, 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream, room temperature and 1/4 c. lemon juice, bottled, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan. Prepare cake mix as package directs, stir in apples.
Pour in baking dish and bake 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. In medium bowl, combine sweetened milk, sour cream and lemon juice. Remove cake from oven and spread cream mixture over top.
Return to oven and bake 10 minutes or until set.
Sprinkle with cinnamon; cool.
Refrigerate leftovers.
