Apple Dumpling Cobbler
Apple Dumpling Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls, 2 large granny smith apples, peeled and quartered, 1 c orange juice, 2/3 c sugar and 1/2 c butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Unroll crescent rolls and separate.
Wrap each apple quarter with roll dough and place in a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
Bring orange juice, 2/3 c sugar and butter to a boil in a saucepan.
Pour over apple dumplings.
Stir together 2 tsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon-sprinkle over dumplings.
Bake at 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
