Apple Crisp Coffee Cake
Apple Crisp Coffee Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/8 tsp. baking soda, 1/8 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Beat sugar and shortening until fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla until well mixed.
Peel and core apple, then chop.
Stir 1/2 of the flour mixture into the sugar mixture.
Stir in sour cream.
Then stir in sour cream and remaining flour mixture and apple.
Spread in pan.
Crush nuts and mix together brown sugar, butter and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over coffee cake.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes in a 375Β° oven.
