Western Chili Casserole
Western Chili Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/4 c. chopped celery, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 can chili and beans and sprinkle oregano and cumin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown meat.
Add 3/4 cup onion and the celery.
Saute until tender.
Add chili and seasonings.
In casserole, alternate layers beginning with chips, meat and cheese.
Top with remaining onion. Bake until hot and bubbly 15 to 20 minutes.
May prepare ahead and refrigerate.
Bake at 325Β° or until very hot.
