Upside-Down Coffeecake
Upside-Down Coffeecake is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. apple jelly, 1 (16 oz.) pkg. pound cake mix and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Grease and flour a 9-inch square baking pan. Spread jelly evenly onto bottom of pan.
Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Stir in 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Pour batter over jelly layer, spreading gently and evenly. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup chips over top. Bake 50 to 55 minutes in a 325Β° oven until cake springs back when touched lightly. Cool 5 minutes in pan.
Invert onto serving plate. Cool at least 15 minutes. Serve warm.
