Tamale Pie
Tamale Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. chili powder, 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal, 1 1/4 c. milk, 1 egg, beaten and 1 lb. ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix together cornmeal, milk and egg.
Brown the meat; add onions and garlic.
Continue to saute until onions are soft.
Stir in chili powder, tomatoes, corn, beans and olives.
Heat for 5 additional minutes.
Stir in the cornmeal mixture.
Place in a 2 1/2-quart casserole and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350Β°. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 5 more minutes until cheese melts.
Serves 6 to 8 for brunch, lunch or as dinner.
Serve with wilted spinach salad, broccoli spears and avocado slices.
