Swiss Steak
Swiss Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. eye of round steak, 1/2 c. flour, 2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. paprika and 2 onions, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cut meat in slices about 3/8 inch thick.
Dip into flour seasoned with salt and paprika.
Saute onions until yellow. Remove onions with slotted spoon.
Leave fat in pan.
Brown meat slices; remove from pan.
Put remaining seasoned flour into pan; stir.
When flour and fat are mixed thoroughly, add boiling water, stir until gravy is made.
Add tomatoes and tomato sauce; if too thick, add more water, bring to a boil.
Strain, pour over meat and onions that have been put into casserole.
Bake tightly covered in 325Β° oven until meat is tender.
