Swedish Birthday Cake
Swedish Birthday Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 plain cake or angel food cake, jello vanilla pudding, mixed per pkg. directions, strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries, 1/2 cup whip cream, whipped and fruit or candy to put on top of cake, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut the cake into 3 thin layers; it's okay if they break a little, the filling will glue it together.
Put one layer of cake on a plate.
Add 1 to 2 Tbsp. of the whipped cream to the vanilla pudding.
Spread one half of this on the cake.
Add the second layer of cake and spread the rest of the mixture on it.
Mix the fruit with the sugar, mashing the fruit.
Pour over second layer of cake.
Add third layer of cake.
Spread the top layer lightly with whipped cream.
Put sliced fruits or candy on top of cake. Happy Birthday!
