Sugar Cookies
Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter (margarine), 1/2 c. crisco, 1 c. white sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Roll in sugar.
Place on greased cookie sheet; flatten with a glass dipped in the sugar.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Freezes well.
